(You are looking at the hills…).

Whilst I must confess I am a summer girl, loving the wide blue skies and kicking back the covers at night, I am finding the gentle hum of the rain quite soothing today.

Sitting here, making pro & con lists about doing something a different way. What do you do when the lists are even? How do you decide what’s more important? Sometimes I think it looks good both ways, and the only way to know how something will be is to just do it. And if that doesn’t work, at least you know you have another option.

My throat had swollen up overnight and when I saw the photos of my home city on the news this morning it brought tears to my eyes. It is hard to sob with a sore throat.

I wish I was there to experience it. It reminds me of the winter’s I grew up in, that diminished in later years.
